Long serving member of the Council, Deputy Chairman and Vice Chair of the Grand Organ Appeal Committee, Maureen Boylan, is to become a member of the Cathedral Chapter.
Dean Toby writes: “After a thorough recruitment and interview process, I am delighted to inform you that Maureen Boylan has been appointed as a lay member of the Chapter of Wells Cathedral. Maureen will be well known to many of you as she currently holds many roles in the Cathedral. She brings considerable skills, expertise, and wisdom which are vital to supporting and enabling the work of this place. On behalf of us all, I want to thank her for being willing to serve in this way. Her installation will take place on Thursday 5th November at 5.15 p.m. during Choral Evensong and you are all most welcome to attend.”
