The Friends’ Council is the executive body responsible for the management of the Friends of Wells Cathedral. It is made up of two officers elected at an Annual General Meeting (Chairman and Treasurer), two nominees of the Cathedral Chapter and up to eight members elected at Annual General Meetings

Council Structure

Council meetings are attended by the Friends’ Secretary,
who is also Joint Editor of Friends Publications.

The Secretary is responsible for the Friends’ Office and the administration of the Friends.

The day to day running of the Friends is undertaken by the ‘Admin Team’
of the Secretary, Treasurer and Membership Support Officer.
