City of Wells
The City of Wells has a lot to offer the visitor. As well as the Cathedral there is the Bishop's Place and the Moat Walk. The Wells and District Museum on Cathedral Green has a collections of local Natural History, Archeology and more modern hsitorical items, it also host diplays and exhibitions throughout the year.
Nearby is Glastonbury and the famous Wookey Hole and Cheddar Caves.

The "Voly Choir" sing at times when the Cathedral Choir (Vicars Choral, Boy and Girl Choristers) are on holiday. They also sing occasional services at churches in the diocese and visit other Cathedrals / Greater Churches to sing services during holiday periods.

The Wells Cathedral Oratorio Society (WCOS), founded in 1895, gives concerts of medium-to-large choral works in the nave of Wells Cathedral twice a year, in the autumn and spring terms. It also invites singers to join it in a “Come and Sing” concert in the summer.
